My vision problem may be invisible to you, but it is a life-changing reality for me.
I am a 60-year-old man and a
stroke survivor since 2017, living with serious vision problems. My eye
examination shows very high myopia in both eyes, along with amblyopia in
my right eye and severely reduced vision. I am struggling to see
clearly, and I fear that my vision will continue to deteriorate.
Everyday things that many
people take for granted—working, reading, moving around safely, and
taking care of myself—can become difficult when your eyesight is
failing.
I am still doing my best to
work online and support myself, but my income is very modest. What I
earn is barely enough for my maintenance medicines, food, and shelter
each month. I simply cannot afford the eye surgery and treatment that I
need.
I am humbly asking for your help to preserve the vision I still have.
