The Kneeling Leader: A 33-Day Devotional
A Devotional Journey into Humility, Servanthood, and Spirit-Led Influence for Christian Entrepreneurs
Day 26 — Remembering His Goodness
Scripture (Douay-Rheims):
“Give glory to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” — Psalm 107:1
Reflection
Leadership can narrow vision. When focused intensely on targets and timelines, it is easy to forget how far God has already brought you. Gratitude expands perspective. It reconnects present challenges with past faithfulness.
God’s goodness is not seasonal. His mercy does not fluctuate with quarterly results. He has sustained you through uncertainties before — and He will again.
Grateful leaders remember their beginnings. They recall early risks, humble offices, uncertain starts. They remember answered prayers and unexpected provisions. These memories fuel present trust.
Gratitude also transforms morale. Teams mirror the tone of their leaders. If leadership constantly highlights what is wrong, morale declines. If leadership regularly acknowledges what is right, energy rises.
Expressing appreciation publicly strengthens unity. Thanking individuals specifically fosters belonging. Celebrating milestones builds shared identity.
Thankfulness does not ignore problems. It simply refuses to let problems define the narrative.
Today, pause and remember. The business you steward. The people who support you. The opportunities before you. None are accidents.
Gratitude anchors the heart in truth: God has been good — and He remains good.
