Day 16 — Trusting the Season You Are In

Scripture (Douay-Rheims):
“All things have their season, and in their times all things pass under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1

Reflection

Every leader longs for momentum. Growth feels validating. Expansion feels rewarding. Progress feels purposeful. Yet Scripture reminds us that life and leadership unfold in seasons — and each season carries divine intention.

There are seasons for planting and seasons for waiting. Seasons for building and seasons for strengthening foundations. Seasons for visibility and seasons for quiet preparation. Problems arise when leaders try to force a season that has not yet arrived.

Impatience often masquerades as ambition. We convince ourselves that faster is better, bigger is wiser, and sooner is safer. But premature expansion strains systems, weakens culture, and exhausts people. God’s timing protects what His promises produce.

Waiting is not wasted time. It is formation time.

During slower seasons, God refines motives, clarifies vision, and deepens character. He teaches leaders to listen more than rush, to pray more than push, to trust more than manipulate.

Mature leaders recognize that restraint is strength. They resist pressure to grow before they are ready. They choose sustainability over speed. They value longevity over headlines.

Your current season is not an accident. It is an assignment.

Ask yourself today: Am I honoring the season God has placed me in, or am I resisting it?

Prayer

Lord, help me embrace Your timing. Teach me to trust the season You have chosen for me. Guard me from rushing ahead of Your will.
