The Kneeling Leader: A 33-Day Devotional
A Devotional Journey into Humility, Servanthood, and Spirit-Led Influence for Christian Entrepreneurs
Day 29 — Doing Everything for His Glory
Scripture (Douay-Rheims):
“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatsoever else you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31
Reflection
God is not interested only in church activities. He is deeply interested in boardrooms, spreadsheets, supply chains, and customer relationships. Scripture declares that everything can glorify Him.
Mission-driven leadership begins with intention. You consciously dedicate ordinary tasks to extraordinary purposes. Emails become acts of stewardship. Meetings become opportunities for wisdom. Strategies become prayers in motion.
When leaders pursue God’s glory, excellence increases. Mediocrity loses appeal. Ethics become non-negotiable. Service becomes central. People become priorities.
This perspective guards against compartmentalized faith. There is no “spiritual life” separate from “work life.” Everything belongs to God. Everything reflects Him.
Glory-focused leaders resist shortcuts. They refuse exploitation. They reject deception. They choose righteousness even when it costs.
This mindset also redeems routine. Even repetitive tasks gain meaning when offered to God. Faithfulness becomes worship. Consistency becomes testimony.
Ask yourself today: Whose glory am I truly seeking — God’s or my own?
Prayer
Father, I offer every task, decision, and responsibility to You. Purify my motives. Let my work honor You in both public and private moments.
