All Souls Day Prayer (General Petition)
Merciful Father,
On this holy day, we remember all the faithful departed.
In Your boundless love and compassion,
look kindly on the souls who have gone before us.
Cleanse them of every sin and imperfection,
and bring them into the fullness of Your eternal light.
Grant comfort to those who grieve,
hope to those who mourn,
and peace to every heart that carries loss.
Teach us to live with faith and charity,
so that one day we may rejoice together
in the glory of Your Kingdom.
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary
and all the saints who now live in Your presence,
receive our prayers and the offering of our hearts.
May the souls of the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God,
rest in peace. Amen.
